Hemp Oil

This oil comes from the seeds of the plant, cannabis sativa. Many people think this means marijuana, but it actually translates from Latin, "useful hemp." Along with the oil, the seed is a food, the fiber makes cloth, rope, and paper. It truly is a useful plant.

Hemp oil is the most nutritious oil in the world. It contains more essential fatty acids than any other food. Hemp oil contains 76% essential fatty acids (57% Omega 6 and 19% Omega 3). Whereas, flax oil contains about 74% EFAs (57% Omega 3 and 17% Omega). Hemp oil also contains about 1.7% Gamma Linoleic Acid, which is found in Borage oil. Hemp oil is the only oil that contains Omega 3, Omega 6, and GLA. Many people appreciate the taste of hemp oil, compared to flax or borage oil. Hemp oil is 100% legal and contains no psychoactive properties.
