Sea
Vegetables
|
|
The term
sea vegetables has been applied to what is commonly known as seaweeds,
but these are actually macro-algae of the ocean. These super foods are
the most significant source of minerals and trace elements. Sea water
is full of these nutrients and is like soil to land vegetables. The
sea is where seaweeds absorb their high concentrations of minerals and
trace elements. Sea Vegetables are also high in protein. They are readily
available to the human body because the minerals are in the organic,
and naturally "chelated" form. Chelated minerals are naturally connected
to a carrier protein which facilitates their assimilation. |
